CBSE has Announced Syllabus Changes for the Academic Year 2021-22
The CBSE Commerce syllabus 2021 Class 11th & 12th pdf has been released for all courses by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Students can begin their CBSE board examination preparation by obtaining the CBSE 11 commerce syllabus 2021 in pdf format. Students can utilise the CBSE Commerce Syllabus 2021 for Class 11th and 12th to learn about major topics, marking systems, and exam patterns. To do well in board exams and competitive examinations, it is necessary to study the CBSE 11th and 12th curriculum 2021.
Commerce Class 11 Term 1 Exam Pattern & Timelines
The CBSE Class 11th syllabus is available here, along with a detailed description of each sub-topic. The CBSE curriculum covers the entire course structure, as well as the distribution of marks for each unit and the length of time required to complete it. Subject professionals design the curriculum so that students are prepared for higher classes and competitive exams. When studying for their Class 11 exam, students should focus more on courses having a high weightage of marks. The question paper is also based on the CBSE Class 11th Syllabus for the exams in the academic year 2021-22. Exams for the first academic term will take place in November and December 2021, and those for the second semester will take place in March 2022.
Commerce Class 12 Term 1 Exam Pattern & Timelines
For the academic year 2021-22, the board has decided to simplify the CBSE Class 12th Syllabus for students. Furthermore, the AY 2021-22 board exam will be divided into two periods, each covering roughly half of the subject. Internal assessment will include end-of-topic or unit examinations, exploratory exercises, practicals, and projects throughout the year, regardless of Term I and II.
Internal Assessment Guidelines for all courses will be released in conjunction with the restructured term-by-term split curriculum for AY 2021-22.
Commerce Class 11 Term 2 Exam Patterns And Timelines
According to a CBSE announcement, the Class 11 Term 2 Exam 2021-22 would consist of a subjective paper lasting two hours and containing a variety of questions (for example, case-based/situation-based, open-ended – short answer/long response type). The evaluation for term 2 will be based on 50% of the CBSE Class 11 Syllabus. Exploratory activities, practical tests, projects, and unit assessments will be held throughout the year.
Commerce Class 12 Term 2 Exam Pattern & Timelines
At the end of the second term, the Board would hold a Term II or Year-end Examination based solely on the reduced curriculum of Term II (i.e. approximately 50 percent of the entire syllabus). The exam dates and times have yet to be announced, but it is expected to take place in March-April 2022 at the Board’s designated testing centres. The paper will take two hours to complete and will feature a variety of questions (case-based/situation-based, open ended-short response/long answer type). If circumstances prevent a standard descriptive examination, a 90-minute MCQ-based exam will be administered at the end of Term II. The final total score will include the results of the Term II Examination.
Evaluation & Assessment and Result Calculation For CBSE Board
The board also stated how the weighting of the two tests in the final score of the pupils will vary depending on how they are given. If students take their exams at schools or other permitted testing facilities, their grades will be evenly distributed between the two tests. The weighting of the second term test in the final score will be raised if it is performed at centres in March-April 2022. If the second-term exams cannot be held in person, the weighting of first-term exam marks will be increased to produce year-end results. If students are obliged to take exams at home for both terms, the CBSE will take into account the students’ internal assessments, practical work, and projects to ensure the validity and reliability of the assessment.
